Czech Cubists – sharp points, slicing planes, and crystalline shapes. The Grand Café Orient is the only cubist-designed space of its kind in the world, designed in 1912 by modernist architect Josef Gočár for the House of the Black Madonna building, the first Cubist building in Europe.
